Mu News:

2005-Aug-07: We've been recording in the studio and 12 songs are nearly complete. Stay tuned for the release date and any accompanying shows. We just played a rowdy show at the Blue Moon on August 5; a big thank-you to the spirited crowd. Thanks also to Alta Rego and Stuntdoubler for playing the show with us.

2005-Apr-05: We had a good turn-out last night at the Rendezvous. Thanks so much to each of you who came out to see us play another New Music Monday presented by NadaMucho.com -- we had a good time and we hope you did too. In other news, our recording continues and we're making good progress towards our first full-length release. Exciting!

2005-Jan-19: As we enter 2005, The Mu has quite a few plans. We'll continue to play shows around town. We're also be doing a little recording in the studio, which may result in the first tracks for our next album. And you may even see us release a few more short film projects. Many thanks to Nada Mucho for a great show at the Rendezvous on January 3.

2004-Dec-09: Last night was another fun show -- this time at the Jewel Box Theatre of the Rendezvous. Fey Ray finished off the night in style. Seattle Weekly even put us in their "Notable Shows" section (article). And we should mention that the short clip of videos you may have seen in our show is the work of Robert Zverina. Please check out his website for for info about his DVD of 792 short films. Thanks to everyone who came and we hope to see you at the Rendezvous again in early January for New Music Monday presented by Nadamucho.com.

2004-Dec-01: Last night's show at Graceland was a blast. We unveiled the new Mu with Pär on drums, and the response was very positive. Here's a few photos from the show, taken by Don Anderson. Thanks Don!

2004-Nov-12: For the past year and a half we have been searching for a person to play drums for The Mu and finally that search is over. Pär Andreasson will be playing drums for The Mu--he is our dream drummer! Look for The Mu to have an exciting new energy at upcoming shows.

2004-Oct-24: More radio airplay! "Bye Bye Psycho" from our 3D Feelings album was played on the Audioasis show of KEXP 90.3 FM. We are very excited about that!

2004-Oct-24: The CD Release show was a lot of fun. Aaron Spotts put on a great show with just acoustic guitar and vocals. And we showed three short films during the show. Thanks to everyone who came. So now the release of 3D Feelings is official--here are the local stores that have it: Everyday Music (Capitol Hill), Cellophane Square (University District), and all Sonic Boom Records locations (Capitol Hill, Fremont, Ballard).

2004-Sep-25: Radio airplay! KSER 90.7 FM (Everett) played "Bye Bye Psycho" from our 3D Feelings album. Thanks to "The Dawghaus" show.

2004-Sep-18: The Mu Multimedia Show was a success! Thank you to everyone who showed up. And thank you to Benji of On the House for working with us to put it together. We even got a little mention in the Film section of The Stranger. Here's a few photos from the show.
